While iron and steel, cement, fertilizers and other products rank first in the world, a large number of resources have been consumed, and some resources have been severely constrained by foreign countries; again, the overall technical level is still lagging behind, and there is a significant shortage of core technologies; finally, the manufacturing industry continues to grow rapidly At the same time, the benefits of front-line employees have been slow to improve. It can be said that there are frequent obstacles to the sustainable development of China's machinery manufacturing industry, and there is a long way to go. As early as 1987, the report of the United Nations Commission on Environment and Development clearly put forward the concept of "sustainable development". Since its introduction, various parties have been arguing about the concept of sustainable development, and most of the concepts are Under the conditions of equal importance, the coordination and harmony of the three aspects of nature, society and economy are emphasized. In this regard, the Chinese government, based on its own development status, applies this concept to the specific practice of China's manufacturing transformation and upgrading with foresight, and proposes to transform the development mode to promote the improvement of development quality and efficiency, adjust and optimize the industrial structure, and promote innovation-driven development.
